Currents is about people, whether it is 300 years ago or today...
-Betty Ann Cherry

The mission of the local history project, "Currents of the Juniata Valley" was to study, appreciate, sustain and celebrate the history, people, and places of the Juniata River Valley. The project facilitated scholarly research, provided an interactive educational website, and hosted public programs to encourage understanding and a shared sense of place among area residents.

Check back in Spring 2008 to see the new "currents" - now a part of the Beeghly Library at Juniata College.
